Adwerx is searching for a Marketing Database Manager to own the data for our marketable prospects in coordination with the SalesOps Team. This person will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the prospect list, with a heavy emphasis on securing and managing prospect data across Marketing platforms. The successful candidate will be innovative, curious, take initiative to create efficient solutions, and not be afraid to make mistakes. The Marketing Database Manager position will report directly to the VP of Marketing, and work closely with SalesOps to develop and execute best-in-class prospect management strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the assigning, updating, and reporting on all marketable prospects and accounts
  • Ensure that ownership is updated across platforms such as Marketo and Outreach on a monthly basis and maintained in between
  • Make recommendations to SalesOps on ways to improve and grow our marketable prospect list
  • Add to marketable database by pulling lists from sources such as ZoomInfo for accounts that do not have any prospects to increase our marketable audience
  • Generate weekly and monthly reports on overall marketable database health, growth, demo booked rate etc.
  • Own the creation and maintenance of dynamic lists in platforms such as Marketo and Outreach to ensure we are marketing to the right audiences
  • Work with SalesOps to improve efficiency, processes, and reporting of MarketingOps
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and software to help improve current prospects management processes
  • Investigate and manage data partners and vendors
  • Work directly with SalesOps to manage changes for any new processes put in place
  • Own and prioritize appropriate LeadOps tickets and requests

Skills:

  • 2-4 years of similar experience
  • Salesforce power user
  • Exceptional Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
  • Attention to Detail
  • Experience with list generation and intelligence software such as ZoomInfo
  • Familiarity with data augmentation and cleanup tools such as Ekata, Cloudingo
  • Knowledge of Marketo and Outreach a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational as well as presentation skills
  • The ability to take complex ideas and distill them into clear and concise statements
  • Experience in a team-oriented, fluid, fast-paced, dynamic, scaling environment

Sample of first 90 days activities:

  • Review existing tech stack and understand how all platforms are connected
  • Get up to speed on prospect ownership - what teams own prospects, how they are assigned/reassigned, and where there are gaps
  • Conduct audit of current processes to determine weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
  • Increase and improve our marketable database
  • Create prospect management workflow based on status and ownership
  • Update prospect lists for Real Estate, Mortgage, and Wealth Management Outreach sequences
  • Identify one key process improvement and lead implementation
  • Attend daily Revenue Team stand ups and actively participate
  • Lead weekly LeadOps meeting
  • Own beginning of month prospect assignments for internal and external SDR teams
  • Develop weekly metrics to report on database health, marketable contacts, and outstanding ticket statuses
  • Define, document, and manage Marketing Ops processes and automation
